The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games will open on February 12 and close on February 28, 2010. The Paralympic Games will open on March 12 and close on March 21, 2010. Here you will find all of the information regarding all of the sports, athletes, schedules, results, tickets, medal standings and much, much more.
For information on how to get from point A to point B, using public transportation, go to www.translink.ca. This site provides a search engine which allows you to input the starting and ending points of your trip and provides you with information on the options that you can select with regard to the route, starting time, length of trip and the cost of the trip. It also provides a map of the selected route.
For any kind of transportation, get a current view of what traffic is like for numerous roads, terminals and points of interest in Vancouver and surrounding cities at www.gvrd.com/webcams. These webcams will also give you a good idea of what various locations in and around the city look like.
